The Alphington Photographic Group

The Alphington Photographic Group was founded in February 2005 and the members are dedicated to improving their photographic techniques.

Members choose two or three photographs each month either from a set subject or from their own theme. We discuss our photographs at our very informal and friendly meetings, comments on our photographs are always made in a kindly manner. Our meetings are held on the last Thursday of each month except December and half way through each meeting we stop for a refreshment break.

As the group is fairly dependent on computers members are always happy to advise and help each other with any computer problems.

We hold exhibitions and sales of our work and part of the proceeds are donated to a charity or good cause.

Members are actively encouraged to arrange outings with each other but some complete group outings are arranged throughout the year.

Discounts are available for the members from various local companies.

Rules

• The Alphington Photographic Group is a non-profit making group and the annual subscription is just to cover meeting room rental, administrative and web hosting costs. This is non-refundable and subject to an annual review.


• A fee would be collected from each member attending a group photographic outing to cover costs such as entrance fees and travel expenses if applicable.


• No pornographic photographers or pornographic photography will be tolerated within the group.


• Nude photography is an art form but can only be shown with the full consent of the complete membership.


• The joining age of The Alphington Photographic Group is 16 years and above.


• The Alphington Photographic Group will not be responsible or liable for any injury to a person or damage to any equipment during any of the groups activities.
